Grain Airflow Selector app for iPhone and iPad

Calculates the total amount of airflow required by a fan system to aerate a silo of grain and indicates the size and number of fans required to achieve this airflow. It also shows the impact of lower grain levels in the silo on aeration rates.

Moisture levels in grain storage is an important variable to control. Too much moisture and the amount of time the grain can be stored safely is reduced as well as reducing the value of the product, and too little moisture and the weight of the product is reduced, removing value. The app allows an indication of the required total airflow for a silo application to be calculated, and an example of the type, amount and power consumption of fans to perform the required duty to be displayed in a graphical manner.
